Our mission and our values
Pietro Massimo Fumarola writes in his book “In Valle d’Itria. Cicerone di me stesso”, by now the trullo is to be considered a real survivor, “The architecture of a trullo is firs of all a lesson of sobriety, proportion, essentiality and coherence”.
Our mission is to create dry trulli satisfying the customer’s request. Among our values worthy of mention, there is certainly the preservation of the sublime peasant history of our ancestors trullari and the tutelage of the traditional and efficient maestry in the manufacturing of the stone with the hammer.
Our History
“Best ideas do not come from reason, but from a lucid visionary madness”, the philosopher Erasmus from Rotterdam wrote. Even our history as many comes from the healthy madness of a young boy builded in a family business. Nicola Guarnieri, the “casellaro”, has always been attracted to the culture of the trullo mastery; he often tells that “a trullo is not the same as another, each one of us has his own mastery…”.
Edil Guarnieri was born in 2010 in Locorotondo, in the heart of the Valle d’Itria, and it has collected in the last few years a multitude of moral recognition for the meticulous and optimal realization of aggregates of trulli.
